I've been in a place for awhile where the Holy Spirit shows me where God is during the ins and outs of everyday life...

I have a couple of kids, an awesome wife, and a trail running dog. Together we are seeking God and letting His love spill out on the broken and forgotten.

resident alien day5; broken and poured out

If we are to live as aliens, our desire must not be for the things around us, but for the will of the Father. What is his desire?

Ultimately it is making all things new. C.S. Lewis calls this "making death work backwards"

To keep your desire not on the shiny things of this life pray this simple prayer;
"Lord, break my heart for that which breaks yours"
